Seaforth

TfNSW has received planning approval for the B-Line program between Brookvale and Seaforth, which features a series of road improvement work to improve bus travel time and reliability between the Northern Beaches and the Sydney CBD.

A total of 377 submissions were received throughout the public display of the proposal in November and December 2016.

A large number of submissions related to potential changes to Heaton Avenue and the construction of a new bus indent at the nearby bus stop.

The approved proposal includes:

  • The closure of the left turn into Heaton Avenue only, so that the left turn out of Heaton Avenue into Manly Road remains open
  • Relocating the new indented bus bay slightly north along the southbound carriageway of Manly Road (as compared to the Proposal in the REF).

A Submissions Report has been produced to provide further details about the proposal and responses to feedback.
